Lymphoedema Practitioner for Private Practice in Mornington

An exciting opportunity awaits for a qualified professional to join our busy team in our state-of-the-art practice. We are a fast-growing clinic close to local private hospitals, providing cancer rehabilitation and lymphoedema management to patients on the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding suburbs. 

Our focus is on a lymphoedema prevention model of practice, primary/secondary/cancer related lymphoedema assessment and management, development of rehabilitation programs before, during and after cancer diagnosis and treatment, scar tissue/cording management.

We are looking for a registered lymphoedema practitioner or we are willing to put a passionate OT through the qualification

·         Degree in Occupational Therapy.

·         Lymphoedema Certification or interest in completing

·         Current Registration with AHPRA and ALA if applicable

·         Current unrestricted Drivers Licence.

·         Minimum of 1 years clinical experience in your background field

(Potential for a new grad who shows a passion for the field of oncology, pre/post cancer management and/or lymphoedema prevention)

·         Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.

·         High standard of customer service and multidisciplinary teamwork.

·         Well-developed organisational and time management skills.

·         Flexible and positive approach to work.

·         Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice.

Are you an OT willing to learn and grow? 

This is an opportunity to gain experience in:

·         Becoming a qualified Lymphoedema Practitioner

·         Bioimpedance using the SOZO 

·         Early intervention protocols

·         Low level laser therapy (LLLT)

·         Scar tissue management protocols

·         Pneumatic compression pumps

·         Garment measurement and prescription
